Introduction to Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") applies to your use of the website of Razorpay hosted at razorpay.com, the Services (as defined under the Razorpay "Terms of Use") and Razorpay applications on mobile platforms (Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone, iOS etc.) (collectively ("RAZORPAY" or "WEBSITE")), but does not apply to any third party websites that may be linked to them, or any relationships you may have with the businesses listed on Razorpay.

The terms "we", "our" and "us" refer to Razorpay and the terms "you", "your" and "User" refer to you, as a user of Razorpay. The term "Personal Information" means information that you provide to us which personally identifies you to be contacted or identified, such as your name, phone number, email address, and any other data that is tied to such information.

Information we collect and how we use it

We collect, receive and store your Personal Information. If you provide your third-party account credentials ("Third Party Account Information") to us, you understand that some content and information in those accounts may be transmitted to your account with us if you authorise such transmissions and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to us shall be covered by this Privacy Policy. You may opt to not provide us with certain information, however that will restrict you from registering with us or availing some of our features and services.

Account information of Merchants

If you create an account to take advantage of the full range of services offered on Razorpay, we ask for and record Personal Information such as your name, email address and mobile number. We may collect and store your Sensitive Personal Data or Information (such as any financial information including inter alia credit card, debit card details, bank account and know your customer ("KYC") documents as per RBI regulations and any other information as may be applicable) that the User may opt to save in the User account created with Razorpay.

Customer Information

We also store customer information of customers such as address, mobile number, Third Party Wallet details, Card Details and email address making payments through Razorpay checkouts. However, only when customer chooses to share the information on the businesses powered with Razorpay applications we share the information to respective businesses.

Terms of Use

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between You and Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay"). The Terms, constituted of Part A: General Terms and Conditions and Part B: Specific Terms and Conditions, govern Your access to and use of Razorpay services, including payments, technology, software, analytics or any other services, tools or products offered or made available by Razorpay and/or its Affiliates.

1. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS

1.1. We (and our licensors, as applicable) remain the sole owner of all right, title and interest in the Services, including the Platform and the website www.razorpay.com ("website"). Razorpay grants You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access the Platform. You shall not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices.

1.2. You grant a royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable and sub-licensable license to Razorpay, its Affiliates and third party service providers, to use Your data, Your customer's data, information, content, trademarks, logos and any other materials/information You upload or make available to us or on the Platform ("Your materials").

2. USAGE OF THE WEBSITE AND USE OF SERVICES

2.1. You shall register to become a user of the Website only if You are of the age of 18 or above and can enter into binding contracts as per Applicable Laws. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of Your passwords, login and account information.

2.3. By using the Services and providing your contact information, you consent to receiving information about, and offers for, various products and services from Razorpay via telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or other digital means. You explicitly waive any registration listed under the Do Not Disturb (DND) or NCPR.

3. PAYMENT

3.1. Applicable fees for the provision of Services shall be levied by Razorpay from time to time. Razorpay fees allow access to the entire suite of payments products, dashboard and custom reports, and includes MDR charges. Razorpay fees include zero MDR for Rupay Debit Cards and UPI transactions.

3.3. We will raise monthly invoices in respect of fees charged. Any dispute in respect of an invoice must be communicated via notice no later than ten (10) days from the date of the invoice.

17. PROHIBITED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

• Adult goods and services including pornography and escort services.
• Alcohol, tobacco, and controlled substances.
• Body parts or human remains.
• Gaming/gambling including lottery tickets and sports bets.
• Hacking and cracking materials; guides enabling illegal access to software.
• Virtual currency, cryptocurrency, and other crypto products (like NFTs).
• Offensive goods promoting intolerance, hatred, or violence.
